The 20/20 Vision

•We envision a weekly dynamic Sunday morning worship service that involves 1,000 attendees, magnifies God’s name, challenges believers and is a powerful witness to unbelievers.

•We envision 500 members who have committed themselves to Jesus Christ as their Savior and to this church family by protecting the unity, sharing in the responsibility and supporting the testimony of the church.

•We envision 500 members who have committed themselves to spiritual maturity by having a daily quiet time, giving a weekly offering and participating in fellowship through weekly Bible study.

•We envision a team of 500 members who have committed to discovering and developing their S.H.A.P.E. to serve God and to build up the church family.

•We envision 250 members who have committed to be equipped to effectively share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

•We envision a missions budget of $200,000 annually to support 240 long term/short term missionaries around the world to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

•We envision 600 in Sunday school classes within the church providing discipleship, encouragement and accountability to our members as they seek to grow in Christ-likeness.

•We envision a Sunday evening believer’s service that involves 700 adults, children and youth in edifying worship and the study of God’s Word.

•We envision Wednesday night Bible Study that involves 500 adults, children and youth in prayer and the study of God’s word, to build up believers and produce doers of the Word.

•We envision Calvary Baptist Church to be operating in upgraded facilities as God provides, debt free.

•Finally and most significantly, we envision the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused finding hope and forgiveness through Christ and with guidance and encouragement seeing them become more Christ-like.

The goal of this vision is to bring glory to God by presenting Jesus Christ with as many Christ-like disciples as we possibly can before He returns.
